White Spot Restaurants - Nanaimo

I visited the White Spot in Nanaimo and unfortunately experienced severe food poisoning. After being hospitalized, I contacted the manager to inform her of my illness. Her response was defensive and accusatory, as if I were on trial for a crime. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant and have no intentions of returning in the future.

It is not gourmet, but it is very good and consistent. The servers are always friendly and accommodating. Your alcoholic drinks are very good. I like the atmosphere. Not pretentious .

I ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was more than I could finish. The english muffins were perfectly toasted. I realized later that I had only ordered a half portion. I will keep this in mind for next time. I absolutely enjoyed the hollandaise sauce.

After getting off the ferry, we decided to dine at this restaurant located inside a large shopping center. Despite the busy location, there was ample parking available. The staff was friendly and quick, and our burgers were delicious as always. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience.

Came here with family from out of town. Was ready with our vaccine passports and IDs. Mine wasn’t “accepted”, as I do not have the QR code yet and I just moved here from Alberta. I’m Getting my booster soon, as I need it for...work and told them that. They still would not accept my paper copy. I have been allowed everywhere else, I use my vaccine passport daily. As if people during this time don’t get persecuted enough, even after getting the vaccine I’m told I’m not allowed in…
