Wendy's - Nanaimo

Super slow, food finally came and tasted like expected. The young person only one) tried hard to be friendly. Maybe they lack the staff in the kitchen?

I like Wendy’s and have turned to this place again and again despite the bad service and my order. Today I waited in the thru lineup drive for thirty minutes to say that it was only cash on the trip thru and if I wanted to pay with Debit/Kredit, I had to go in. I waited behind the person in front of me to get her food. You wouldn't take my order and have the food ready when I came in to pay. I drove around, went in and was second in line. I stood there for over 15 minutes and my order had not been removed yet. There was no one complaining. So I went, and I left, there were now cars in the car drive lined thru all the way to the road and still no sign that they were not debit/credit in the car drive thru. I finally had enough and won't be back.

Drive around 2:30 and drive home 5 minutes. My number one was cold and the burger was awhile. My fries were also evil and cold. You have to change her oil in the frittier. I have half a chicken salad for my hubs. The Feta/Parmesan cheese was not even on the salad. Pretty much what I would have done at home. I spent $16. We went to retirement and meals are kind of a treat for us as we are in a pension. Stick with Burger King and DQ. Food is always hot and fresh

I gave these special Wendys so many chances and most of the time the mistakes were insignificant. August 19 changed my mind. I ordered two taco salads over the app. I go to pick up my order and waited almost 30 minutes in the drive thru line, which was no problem. The problems started when I came to the window. The young man said he didn't get my order, but after looking deeper he finally found it. I got my order and started to drive, but saw in the bag, and half the order was missing. I just wanted to wait half an hour. The same young man told me not to use the app because things go wrong. Okay, I won't. I'm just coming home to discover that the order was still wrong. What a disaster! I won't be back what's disappointed because I love the salads.

What is beyond a typical fast food outlet is good food, fantastic staff, and free coffee for seniors. The place is bright and cheery we visit quite often
