My favorite Thai restaurant for pad thai! Great restaurant to dine or order on skip. But if you order on their website you get a free spring roll. During a sunny day the restaurant windows are opened to the street which I love for a lunch special.

I was in the mood for Thai food and chose this restaurant based on the reviews, and I was not let down. The food was delicious with generous portions and the service was good. While the decor could use some updating and brightening, the fantastic food more than makes up for it.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. We sat on the patio, which had great ventilation. The Thai food was excellent. The Tom Yum soup was delicious. The appetizer sampler had a nice selection. I especially loved the coconut rice. My daughter enjoyed the pad Thai, which was not too spicy, perfect for kids. We will definitely come back next time we visit the island.

During our visit to Nanaimo while touring the island, my father and I stumbled upon Sukkhothai while walking around downtown. The decor immediately caught our eye and we were pleasantly surprised. Our server, Taya, was a delight to dine with, engaging us with her sharp sense of humor and ensuring our satisfaction. I asked her to choose a vegan dish for me, which turned out to be one of her favorites. The dish was simply delicious and one of the best Thai meals I had during my time on the island. Taya was not only an excellent server, but we also learned that she is an aspiring writer. If her writing is anything like the food, she will surely be a best-selling author.

Tasty Thai food good size portion soup salad spring roll and stir fry as a lunch combo. The soup was not great but the rest was very good. I will be back also the staff is very friendly.
