Delicado's - Nanaimo

What a cute little place! I had to stop and have a look at the interior. Really neat spot to have a beverage on the patio! Didn't eat a lot here.... Just ordered the chips, salsa and lemon hummus. It was a tasty snack to have with a drink. The food looked interesting, however I didn't eat anything other than the chips and salsa. I'd like to try it out again and see if there are some other yummy eats to explore!

I'm just going to be blunt. I can't stand to wait in line and then wait for my food ONE MORE TIME at this restaurant. Every time I've visited this establishment in recent months, I've had to wait and wait and wait. I've waited a half hour for an order that consisted of two wraps. I've waited in line for 10 minutes during a slow period when there were only 4 customers in the restaurant, just to get my order placed. The last (and I mean last) time that I was in this restaurant, I even noticed that there was a sign on the counter telling customers to expect to wait. These are wraps and pre-made salads, etc, folks! Unacceptable. The owners of this store clearly lack a customer service oriented attitude. That's fine, they don't need me as a customer anymore. It's too bad. I used to really like this restaurant.

My wife is a fan of Delicado's and has eaten there several times. The food is, as others have noted, fresh and healthy. I ordered two chicken enchiladas and while they were just fine the meal really needed more than just the two enchiladas and some sour cream. Some refried beans and a little rice would have completed the meal for me.

I'm not a fan of wraps - they usually have too many carbs for my liking - but the wraps at Delicados are wonderful. Not stuffed with rice like so many other places, theirs are filled with tasty meats, beans and salads (depending on what type you order). They also do a really fantastic tortilla pie and some interesting soups.

There take on southwest cuisine is excellent .i loved the burritto i came at a busy time and the staff handled it perfectly
