Wow Bao - Nampa

I am not a picky eater, but will say this was upsetting. I honestly would recommend panda express over this. Save yourself some money and go somewhere else.

Not good at all. Bowls are small and with chopped up chicken that looks like it was reused from others abandoned food. No taste at all. Potstickers were burnt with no sauce. I really disliked the bao but my husband thought they were okay. Just don't see it to yourself...

I order on grub hub and got only Boa Buns. I got BBQ Berkshire Pork, Teriyaki Chicken and Coconut Custard. ALL were spectacular!! I love Boa Buns and I am excited to have a place near me that makes them! 10/10

I should have seen the reviews. I ordered 6 buns, 5 vegetable and 1 coconut. I only got the 5 vegetable, no coconut

So, I have seen a lot of bad reviews on this place. I was a little scared to order. There seem to be a lot of expectations surrounding this restaurant.. also, some bad experiences..but those can happen at any restaurant. We ordered the 12 dumpling “pack” along with the 12 chicken ginger potstickers. We chose teriyaki chicken, spicy beef, bbq pork, a cheeseburger one (for our son), a vegetable wheat one, and coconut custard ones (for dessert, yum The savory ones were all amazing! The spicy beef didn’t seem very spicy, that’s coming from someone who “doesn’t do spicy!” Nonetheless, they were all delicious! The dumpling breading, is so good, a little sweetness in it makes a really good compliment to the filling. The coconut ones were beyond amazing...I could probably just order a 12 pack and eat those for dinner lol. They’re so good! The potstickers were SO good! Unique, I have never had chicken ginger potstickers before.Definitely good food in my opinion. In regards to the “good” and the “not so good”, let me share my thoughts: Good: The food, taste, quality, it was filling. I have never had bao before but these were really good. Potstickers were also really good!Not so good: It took a little over an hour to get here via Grubhub, but I attribute that to it just being a little ways away, taking time to prepare and needing to be picked up and delivered. Not a big deal. The inside of the boxes were drippy and moist from condensation, so it was a tiny bit soggy on the bottom, however, it dried up after we took them out of the box so it wasn’t a big deal. We couldn’t tell which was which..until we picked them up and realized that the paper underneath the dumplings said the kind lol. We felt kind of silly after cutting them all open first. But, at least we figured it out. A little spendy in my opinion, but not so overpriced that it will deter us from eating there.Overall, this food was worth it in my opinion. Hope this honest review helps!
