Local First - Nampa

Does not return calls, emails though website as suggested on voicemail or either Facebook messengers (local first and gluten free Galaxy) They got people hooked on the Gluten free cinnamon rolls and made them available at multiple locations and now Ican?t find them anywhere. I tried to contact a week ahead to try to order the cinnamon rolls and I couldn?t get ahold of anyoneand on Thursday afternoon when someone finally answered the phone I was told it was too late to order any for the weekend. Their ?pop tarts? are not worth $7 and neither are their donuts. They do make amazingly addictive cinnamon rolls and cupcakesthough, at least time I was able to find them they were. Plus last time I was in the store the gentleman rang up my order wrongand tried to charge me $9 extra.

As a vegan with many gluten-sensitive friends, this place has changed the game! I moved from Nampa to Boise 5 years ago, and Local First is the only reason I?ve found to come back. I had the veggie sandwich with the mushroom soup, and I had todouble-check that it was indeed vegan because it was THAT good. My friend got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich, and she was inlove with the gluten free bread. I even took some desserts to-go to make the bliss last longer. If you live in Nampa (especiallyif you have any dietary restrictions) you need to go to this place!

A friend of mine has celiac and asked me to go with her to the gluten free place. I ordered the $12 Cobb salad. The avocado was brown, the tomatoes were definitely not fresh and the chicken looked a bit old as well. Not to mention it was the size of a sidesalad that you would pay $5 for. Very disappointing. On a better note, tomato soup was very good and the pizza was pretty goodtoo.

Great place! The service was perfect, the food was great and the place was clean. I was happy to eat somewhere where i didn't leave feeling sick. 100% gluten free and they cater to other sensitivities/ allergies as well.

What a cool cafe and bakery. Their gluten free bread is absolutely delicious. Their service and staff Is fantastic. We definitely love supporting local business and this place has a special place in our heart. We Highly recommend their gluten freefood to everyone. Go check them out.
