Contribuiți la feedbackWe dined at the Nampa location tonight and left feeling disappointed. Many menu items were unavailable, including corn bread, biscuits, roast beef, pot pie, the Thursday turkey and stuffing special, and a few others. I ordered the ham, but it was so salty and greasy that I couldn't eat it, and neither could anyone else at the table. I informed the waitress, who kindly offered to substitute it with chicken, which was an improvement, and I appreciate her help. However, I'm unsure if we want to return in the near future, as we felt let down overall. Our waitress was apologetic, but she did make a few mistakes on our bill that needed correction.
Delicious comfort food that isn’t fine dining. I've noticed the food is consistently good across several locations. The service ranges from good to excellent. The atmosphere is quite relaxing. My wife really enjoys shopping here.
I absolutely love the nostalgic experience at Cracker Barrel. The clothesline they have is simply irresistible. On my last visit, I picked up a Levi's jacket, along with Beeman's gum and an old-fashioned candy cane. Such wonderful items! However, the food didn't seem as fresh or of high quality as it once did. I suppose I go there primarily for the atmosphere and the unique items to purchase. It’s the perfect place to sit in an old rocking chair and reminisce about the past.
We normally frequent here often because of the great service but today Father’s Day) was quite different. There was an older lady as you walked in the front door getting names and numbers to put on the waiting list. We asked what the wait time was for two people and were told about 25 minutes. Not bad for how busy it was so we decided to stay. After about 40 minutes I went in to see how many people were still ahead of us and was told about 8 groups. that being said we we’re trying to figure if we wanted to continue to wait and she started saying no matter where we go it would be a longer wait anywhere else. The 25 minute original wait time was obviously a blatant lie but I figured that’s all she was allowed to quote. It’s when she said we could go to McDonald’s for a quicker meal that we got a little frustrated and then as we turned to go back outside she told us we could “go home and cook ourselves “ that’s when we decided to leave. Honestly from someone that works in customer service I would recommend not letting her be in charge of working with any customers. This was before 2pm on Sunday. I wish I had gotten her name but I’m sure they can figure it out. No telling how many others she caused to leave and not come back too.
Had a gift card so went to check this place out. The parking lot was empty. That's should've been my first clue. We get in and order. I got the chicken fried chicken with corn and masked potatoes. Chicken was actually moist and good. Potatoes and corn.. not so much. How do you get corn wrong? Anyway. No complaints with the waitress. We go to pay and my gift card wouldn't go through. It wasn't declining it, just error reading card. It was one of those gift cards that could be used at 1 of 4 restaurants. It was brand new so definitely not used. Cashier calls the kitchen manager and she said they have problems with those cards sometimes and there's nothing she can do but I can call the 800 number on it. So now I have to pay full price for bland food. Since she said they have problems with these type of cards, why not put a sign up?! She said there was nothing she could do. Yes there was, she could've at least met me halfway and even kept the card. I get that they wouldn't have been reimbursed but neither am I. So much for customer satisfaction. Will not go again.
