Thai Connextions - Nambour

I have made a point to order the same dish, Chicken Pad Sei Eaw, at every Thai restaurant I've visited over the years for comparison. From various places in Australia (Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne) to Tokyo and Bangkok, I have consistently found Nambour's Thai Connextions to have the best tasting and most balanced version of this dish in terms of flavor, service, and ingredient proportions.

The Penang curry and pad thai at this restaurant are amazing. Having visited Thailand three times, I can confidently say that this is the best Penang curry and pad thai I have ever had. The coconut rice is also delicious and could even be enjoyed as a dessert. Although the decor is a bit dated, I highly recommend dining here. The option to bring your own alcohol is also a great plus.

Nice. Went there for the first time for my graduation dinner.<br/ <br/ Meals were served very quickly were very nice.<br/ Friendly staff.<br/ <br/ Beware even though it's BYO, you have to pay an extra $2 per drink per person if you bring your own wine..

Have tried most the menu, massaman and yellow curry are my favorites but can't fault any of their dishes! Fantastic food

I've had a few lunches here now. Why buy a plastic sandwich when for $11 you can have a most excellent curry. The yellow curry with chicken is excellent, filling and great quality ingredients. Not exactly a great location, but friendly staff and a good meal, all upside!
