Hotel Priya Towers - Nāmakkal

During my business trip to Namakkal, I stayed at this hotel located 1.5 km from the bus station. The hotel offers compact double rooms with split AC, a vegetarian restaurant, and a bar. Many visitors stop by, especially those visiting Hanuman temple. The rooms are clean and the room service is efficient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Do not book any rooms at this hotel. The staff were initially polite until I checked in. I had requested a room for 26 hours, to which they had agreed to only charge for one day and allow me to pay after the full 26 hours. However, after 12 hours of my check-in, they called me and insisted that I pay for two days, stating that 24 hours only covered one day. When I reminded them of our original agreement, they became rude and claimed that they had made no such promise, citing the hotel's rules. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and suggested that I may not book rooms with them in the future, they callously responded that it was of no consequence if I chose not to return, as they had plenty of other customers. Additionally, the air conditioning in the room was not functioning properly. There are better hotels in Namakkal than this one. I urge you not to waste your time dealing with these incompetent individuals. Furthermore, they disturbed my sleep by calling me at 4 o'clock, even though my checkout time was supposed to be at 6am. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The A/C double room (with a double bed) has no WiFi, but includes ample parking and a restaurant. Suitable for business stays. Direct booking costs Rs.1680 with a deposit of Rs.2000 at check-in, which is refunded upon check-out.
