Naxara - Nájera

I used it on my pilgrimage to Santiago. Perhaps because I am Japanese (Asian), the clerk didn 't even say a word of thank you. What do you do by lowering the rating of the store yourself? Prices are higher than others.

Publicidad engañosa. Pone fuera un cartel con variedad de pinchos y dentro tiene dos cosas. En plena semana santa sin sacar raciones por no querer poner la freidora. Ni una triste bolsa de patatas tienen para que los niños puedan comer algo. Atencion al cliente pésima, muy pocas ganas de trabajar. Lamentable.

Es un bar con muy buenos y variados desayunos. Abre muy temprano para que los peregrinos de la zona puedan desayunar antes de comenzar la ruta y tiene unos pinchos deliciosos, como el de bacalao marinado frío, muy conocido en la zona. Situado en la zona de paseo peatonal junto al río y junto al puente de piedra. También frente a la oficina de atención al ciudadano de la calle Mayor.

My son and I are walking the Camino and happened to arrive in Najera at the start of their 4 day fiesta! Luckily we had prearranged a hotel room as everything is sold out. Thousands of youth and several marching bands filled the street. Our hotel only serves breakfast and when we asked where we should go they were unable to help. We wandered through the crowds into Bar Naxara and unbelievably found a table outside which we bussed ourselves. I ordered a wine and a coke (both reasonably priced) and asked for a menu. They said they were not serving food but he would fix me something as we had just walked 18 miles. We had a paella and a pizza and while the paella was good and the pizza was passable... The service and good will went an extremely long way. Locale is excellent.
