Geco Café - Nairobi

I liked everything except the cleanliness level. The cushion covers really need to be washed! Great music and great ambience. Service was good even when the place was packed!!

Had the famous mulled wine. Very good for this chilly weather! The fish fingers and fries were okay.

I had such a great experience here! The rump steak was nothing short of amazing and the vibes were just right. Note that its a popular place that is packed and you may have some trouble getting a table when you are late as people come in groups. They can improve on the number of service staff as its quite a task finding a waiter.

Great ambiance and service. If you are a fan of live band music this is the best place to hang out. I especially love the acoustic sessions.

Sunday afternoon sessions with the Nairobi Blues Band! Geco had always been a favourite in Lavington, but it just keeps getting better. Great patio, great food, and a staff who seem perfectly capable of handling the large crowds that show up. This bar represents the best of Nairobi. Everybody gets along, from all different walks of life. Consistently good music too!
