Contribuiți la feedbackWhen you visit Nagold on sunny February days like this, you will feel straight in southern areas. Here you “procure” not only as a swab, but you can also go well. The place was very busy at the Landesgartenschau 2012, from which the city still profits today (and so it should be. Especially the area around the Kleb Park and the Füsschen Waldach has clearly gained quality. I may come to Nagold 3-4 times a year and visit the same places again and again. Since 2014, the stylish Longwy has been a restaurant bar lounge right at the Waldachufer in the middle of a beautifully laid pedestrian zone, which was previously designated as a paid part of the Blümchenschau 2012. Longwy is a family business, with Longwy not the owner's own name, but the partner city in Lorraine. The menu at Longwy is Mediterranean, with an Italian one. The restaurant is mainly housed in a modern, concrete-concrete flat roof construction called pavilion, but also shines through its beautiful, atmospheric wooden terrace directly on the river bank and through its spacious outdoor area, which is now fully managed at the first sun rays in February and is also surprisingly well visited. On a sneaky Wednesday afternoon at about 3 p.m., I found almost no room left. For example, I just wanted to drink a coffee to bridge the time to a family celebration. The audience in the evening is mainly young, chic and in the evenings; In the afternoon, however, there are also many older people among them, including day tourists and mothers with strollers. The entire offer is located on one level, without impeding hurdles and stairs, you can call the Longwy generously from barrier-free. The ambience is well maintained, purist, characterized by clear lines and good materials. Since the pavilion is fully glazed, the interior is beautifully bright and sunny. On the wooden terrace are the typical Korbimitat lounge furniture, which you can see everywhere and which become so slowly a bit boring. You can also look quickly worn and worn out. Nevertheless, I always sit out in halfway good weather and enjoy the magnificent views of river, castle and park. Also during my last visit I was served very quickly and courteously. There were no waiting times, neither when ordering, nor when paying. Speaking of payment: here too, as in the meantime in many locals, you have to explicitly ask for a printed invoice (if you want one). My small coffee for 2.20 Euro was aromatically strong (uff, almost toouuu strong and was served without extra request with two portions of condensed milk and a biscuit. The cups are unfortunately quite heavy and the handle sits so clumsy that the focus is clearly too low. But here seems to be something too prosperous, heavy dishes to the whole picture. The card has a wide range of salads, burgers, flame-cake and pasta. In the crispy flame cakes I can recommend the one with rocket and tomato (fresh!, in the salads I like to take the one with mozzarella and gambaspieß. Although you don't have to wait here for a long time, the Longwy still offers explicit lunch table offers for professionals with little time. I've never tried. Especially popular in Longwy are cocktails and “mother drinks” such as Hugo or Aperol Sprizz. Not so my case, but looks atmospheric at sunset on the terrace. Also for the wines, exuberant glasses are taken, which one can almost not stem. There is surprising cleanliness both inside and outside. Only the disabled toilet resembles a crucible and storage chamber, which is probably due to the unfortunate circumstance that this pavilion simply has no usable side surfaces, no cellar and no storage. From Longwy you can stroll very nicely through the park or downtown, the bus station is also reachable in 2 minutes.
Very poor customers service the forget us if I can I will give them 00 star and very unfriendly people working there : don't go there
Great location. Directly by the river and the park. Relaxed atmosphere, but place can be packed on summer days and service slow. Drinks and food ok, anyway you come here for the view....
Had an event here. It was a marvelous night and the communication was very easy. We would definitely recommend the longwy
Had a few drinks with a nice chilled atmosphere. Little hickups but good overall
