Contribuiți la feedbackI was considering having soba as well, but I decided to try the Hachibou Udon because it was listed as a popular menu item on the outdoor sign. The udon was made of hand-cut noodles with a variety of ingredients including cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, bamboo shoots, pork, green beans, egg, fish cake, spinach, carrot, shrimp, and green onions – definitely more than eight ingredients! The slightly thick sauce that covered the udon had a gentle and delicious flavor.
I had the grated yam soba. It was cold outside, so I ordered something warm. The soba noodles were uneven in thickness, but they were chewy and felt homemade. The dipping sauce was delicious with a bonito base, and it paired perfectly with the grated yam. The price was also reasonable at 700 yen for a tourist spot and a good portion. It seems to be run by an elderly couple, and the atmosphere is calming. It would probably be tough during peak times when it's crowded. After leaving the restaurant, I went to a nearby sweet shop, did some sightseeing, and headed back home. It was a great vacation.
"I had the Totoro soba and it was delicious!"
冷やし山菜レモンおろしそばが意外に美味しい!! 料金も観光地なのに700円と良心的。
