Ramen Hiiragi - Nagasaki

The tomatenramen are simply extraordinary! I ordered it with a few toppings: chashu, extra auberginen and a boiled egg. I wish that the load was a tad closer to my home

Delicious ramen! Based on some great recommendations, we both tried the tomato ramen with extra eggplant and bean sprouts. The ramen and soup base were perfect! The eggplant really is amazing!! Flavorful and charred, the grilled eggplant adds a fantastic and unexpected dimension to this ramen. Such a nicely balanced blend. Pay with cash machine upon entering. The machine offers both English or Japanese language options. Easy to add toppings or sides. Hand your ticket to the staff and take a seat. As a recommendation, take and use the paper apron. It’s crazy how messy I am with ramen. Added more photos from our second visit here. It’s that good!!

I ordered the tomato ramen. It came with juicy fried eggplant, fresh spinach and shredded cabbage as toppings. It's a rebellious combination that was a true delight to eat. I seemed vegetarian in that there was no meat through it but it might be worth double checking with the staff to ensure no meat broth is added. I highly recommend.

The tomato ramen with eggplant was incredible. Savory, thick soup with delicious pieces of eggplant and spices. Only paid about ¥800 for one of the most unique and tasty bowls of ramen I’ve ever had.

Tomato ramen is remarkable! Recommend that you double the spinach and eggplant …. Trust me, when you taste it, you’ll thank me! Fast courteous service. Very clean. Orders taken at the door using “food ticket system” so bring Yen. Highly recommend while your in Nagasaki!
