Kairakuen - Nagasaki

I was looking for a Chinese food in chinatown and I will never regret to choose this one. the restaurant is colorful as a typical restaurant in china. I feel the Chinese atmosphere. eating was great portions. I order many dishes to taste traditional food. the taste of the Chinese food is from the Japanese. try the typical emptying with pork (very soft fat speck.)

The peking duck was good, the other dishes were just good I just had so much better in china that this restaurant really cannot compare.

We visited after my business meeting. love this China city with great dining options. if they talk about nagasaki, the Chinese veggie nudelsuppe is a must try option! we came around the lunchtime and the restaurant is full! almost every table gets a order of the nudel soup.

Am a Cantonese born in Macau and I would say the fried rice is OK. The soup for the noodles is alright but for me definitely not for the noodles. The price is marked up too much for me compared with the other local cuisines.

Bizarre combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Would be interesting to try were it not for the prices. The food is fine and tasty enough (if too sweet, spicy, and greasy for my Northern-Chinese tongue , but the prices are outrageous. You can get better value (and more authentic! Chinese food at Japanese Gyoza places.
