Pepper Jack's - Nacogdoches

We had a wonderful first visit to Pepper Jacks for lunch today. My husband ordered the steak burrito, while I enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, and both meals were absolutely delicious. They also served light, crispy tortilla chips that tasted incredibly fresh, which was a lovely touch. I appreciated the fact that they offered Mexican Coke—such a treat for me! One unique aspect of this place was the gentleman behind the counter, who unexpectedly offered us small samples of the different meats used in their burritos after we asked a few questions about the menu. It was a delightful surprise! I'm excited to return to Pepper Jacks and can't wait to try their hummus and baklava.

Located in downtown Nacogdoches, TX, Cowboy Jack's is the ideal spot for an ice-cold beer—it's honestly refreshingly cold! It features a great Texas bar vibe and has friendly staff. We only ordered an appetizer, which was quite decent. Regardless, the drinks and atmosphere make the visit definitely worthwhile!

I definitely do not recommend the food as it is never cooked right. The drinks and the beers are worth it and the bar staff is attentive and go out of their way to provide great service. Always friendly people in here!!

Great food. Salad was top notch and the grilled shrimp po' boy was awesome...and that's coming from a Gulf Coast native! The Bar had a lot of unique and delicious drinks too. I recommend trying them all

Good spot to eat .... Great chicken fried steak. Good watering hole..... For and adult beverage or Glass of tea... On hot Texas day or evening
