I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. It is cozy and inviting. I tried the Oscar Chicken and it was absolutely delicious, I highly recommend it. However, my partner ordered the steak and found it to be tough. Unfortunately, we encountered one staff member who was extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY, rude. We had been driving for a long time and were very hungry, but her behavior almost made us leave. It's hard to decide because of her rudeness, but that chicken was so tasty!

The food was delicious, the beer was cold, and the cozy country atmosphere was very inviting. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making for a great dining experience.

This pub on the MidNorth coast is the best! The local atmosphere is fantastic! ????????????????????

Friendly Bar Workers. Beer and service is good and that's where it stops...You advertise that you source your Produce from local Growers and Suppliers. Forster, Tuncurry is just 15mins away. I was expecting fresh fish on the menu, only to be told that the fish is frozen and imported. So we ordered the Meatballs with vege. The meatballs were dry and tough. paid $7 for extra vege which barely filled the plate. I tried to view your menu online prior to our luncheon, yet you have a message on your Website, advising that you are working on it. I would seriously hope so as I do think that you are too embarrassed to publish your menu as it may keep visitors like me away. The impression I got is that the competition in town is low, hence locals have no other choice than to put up with mediocre. We may come back when we see fresh local fish on the menu. Good Luck!
