Kōchi-dani Valley - Nabari

Beautiful and beautiful valley and you can dip into the river and you can have barbeque, but with a certain price..also the parking lot, you have to pay 1,000yen.

We drove through this beautiful gorge and I recommend that you do the same. If you only drive through the car, I can see how it would be rated low. When you hear the river, feel the wind on the skin, breathe fresh air, see the majestic gorge with your eyes instead of a windshield, you will be in awe. Nature is amazing, and so is this gorge.

Beautiful valley, especially in autumn when it becomes very crowded on weekends. The contrast of cliffs, autumn leaves, and clear greenish water is a wonderland for photographers. Went on Oct 31 and leaves were just changing, still not so crowded but the road is only one lane at points so it is easy for traffic jams to form. Also hard to find a place to park to take leisurely photos unless you go early. Or go by bicycle pretty flat throughout.
