Moonbeans Coffee - N. McAllen

Hadn’t been here in years and I used to love the orbit coffee but this one was terrible. I thought maybe it was just me but I made a friend try it also. And both agreed that either these Oreos were expired or left open because it made my drink taste pretty disgusting. Didn’t want to go complain because a big party got there after us but noted never to get that drink again. For $6 it shouldn’t have tasted that way it looked presentable just tasted horrible

I highly recommend MoonBeans compared to other places. The staff is friendly, and I suggest trying the Oreo Orbit with dark chocolate. If you're in the mood for caffeine, you can add a shot of espresso. One of the great things about this place is that they host pop-up markets, which I really appreciate because I love supporting local and small businesses.

The espresso machine was out of order, but I won’t hold that against them. We tried the moon mud, and it tasted like burnt coffee that had been left on the burner, albeit with some sweetener added. Unfortunately, that's my only experience for now. However, I will say that the place looked and smelled fantastic.

As first-time customers, we had a fantastic experience. The supervisor assisted us with our online order, and the service was excellent. The coffee was delicious, and we really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor patio. One of the staff mentioned that they occasionally have weekend vendors and live music. It's a great spot to relax and hang out!

Moonbean is a small, tucked-away café in McAllen that offers decent coffee, though I personally feel it's not entirely worth the price. The service left a bit to be desired; I was the only customer at the time, and the staff didn’t appear particularly enthusiastic about their jobs. They do have a nice selection of food and snacks, and they use Boar's Head meat, which is definitely a plus for me! The coffee itself was good, served quickly, and tasted like many others I’ve had, but it was nearly $7 for a 12 oz. cup. While I wouldn’t make a special trip to return, it was still a pleasant experience overall!
