Its a small restaursant and the ambience is okayish but the food covers up for it... very yummy chinese food at fairly low prices.. must visit!

Best Chinese Budget Restaurant in Mysore. Superb taste. the place is run by a Chinese guy. The ambiance is good and service is also very quick Best taste of Chinese dishes you can here in this restaurant. My recommendation: 1. Fried wanton (veg/non) 2. Chilli garlic noodles 3. Prawn fried is exotic. Please pay a visit to this restaurant its one of a kind

The quantity of the food is very less. Its certainly not worth the money you pay. We have come here few times and we find that the quality is getting poorer every time and the restaurant is also getting shabbier. We even informed the staff but they don't seem to care. I definitely won't come here ever again. Really disappointed.

Shanghai Chinese Restaurant is a dirty little restaurant with good food. I worked in China, and I can tell you that the dishes here, although not authentic Chinese, are quite close to the real thing, and having chopsticks instead of spoons and forks is a pleasure. So why don't they clean the place and give it a coat of paint? It would be so much better if they cared about cleaning and décor!

Tiny place, but they serve awesome eating! I have lived my whole life in mysore and tried all the restaurants that are there. shanghai is the best for chinese. Do not miss the chicken triple-sheezwan rice.
