Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen Bar

I absolutely loved it! I had no idea there were other locations, but I'm thrilled we discovered this one in the Uptown Downtown area of Myrtle Beach. It’s gorgeous! We arrived 30 minutes early, but the waitress seated us right away. I ordered the shrimp and grits, and it was delicious. My mother had the Fried Green Tomatoes and really enjoyed them, although she mentioned that the tomatoes were sliced a bit thick. I can't wait to explore what other locations are out there!

This is an excellent Southern restaurant that I highly recommend. The service is outstanding, and I want to give a special shout-out to our waitress, Anastasia. The food is fresh and incredibly enjoyable. I particularly recommend the Shrimp Po' Boy sandwich; the shrimp is so fresh that it almost tastes like a grilled chicken breast. I've never had shrimp this good before! Unlike other restaurants, it doesn't have that salty sea or fishy odor. The seasoning is perfectly balanced, and every component of the sandwich comes together in a delicious harmony of flavors. I had a fantastic evening and can't wait to return for more!

I started with Brussels sprouts, which were crispy and cooked to perfection. The Shrimp Grits, though, were the highlight—simply outstanding! The goat cheese mixed into the grits was a delightful secret ingredient that made me savor every bite. I cleaned my bowl without hesitation! The cocktails were equally impressive; I particularly enjoyed my “Bees Knees” cocktail, which featured fresh honey that added a unique touch. I'm already excited about returning to Tupelo Honey on my next visit, as there are so many intriguing items on the menu that I want to try!

Our party of six ate here June 2022. Great atmosphere and dishes are presented in very appealing manner. We started with fried green tomatoes and their signature biscuits for appetizers. The smothered chicken was truly amazing. It 's not easy to makesomething as common as fried chicken amazing but Tupelo Honey succeeds. Their sides of collared greens with bacon, baked mac andcheese, and rosemary potato cracklins were delicious. The serving sizes were generous and we were full after our entrees butcould not resist the mini dessert duo just for a bite of sweetness after our meal. Definitely need to make reservations aheadof time. Overall great southern dishes in a classy atmosphere.

I was taken here for Mother’s Day. At first I was told that they were booked until 4 that afternoon. We left and I immediately pulled up the reservations online and got lucky they had a slot available in the next 15 minutes. When we went back inside Ithought it was weird to see a few empty tables so I don’t know why it said they were full , even as we ate our meal there wasjust quite a few tables that no one was sitting at. Fast forward to the staff and food. Our waiter was really nice it was anolder gentleman. He went and got us some kids menus for our boys and he was just really attentive the whole time. The food cameout in a decent time and it was really good. The whole family enjoyed their meals like it was just a really nice experience.There were quite a few things that we wanted to try but we’ll have to come back. I don’t think this place could disappoint .My husband doesn’t like a lot of places but he liked this place.
