Thorny's - Myrtle Beach

Took a day trip to Myrtle Beach and decided to eat at Thorny's, it was around 3 pm. There was only one other couple waiting and it took about 5 minutes for them to be seated. Our time was valuable to us sense we had 170 miles to drive, we waited for another 10 minutes and left to find a place that had time for us. There were 3 hostess that did not even at knowledge we were waiting and plenty of empty tables in view. This will not be a place for us to stop again.

A fost doar un alt cuplu care aștepta și a durat aproximativ 5 minute pentru ca ei să fie așezați. Timpul nostru a fost valoros pentru noi simțim că am avut 170 de mile pentru a conduce, am așteptat încă 10 minute și am lăsat să găsesc un loc care să aibă timp pentru noi. Au fost 3 hostess care nici măcar nu au cunoștință, așteptam și o mulțime de mese goale în vedere. Acest lucru nu va fi un loc pentru ca noi să ne oprim din nou.

Sadly disappointed. we have made our first visit to thorny’s tonight, and we were so disappointed, I mean, they have talked everywhere billboards and many reviews about great eating, so we expected something different than what we got. it was a small pricier side of the casual side of the skala. my wife and I shared a complete plate of their award winning ripening, and paid the $2 extra for a loaded baked kartoffel, and $3 for an salat. our $17 meal was now over $20, but I can complain about the price when we shared the brot was nothing to write home, and my wife said that the nasalat was pretty good. when our dinner came, I was underwhelmed with him...read more

Hit the Spot. Up at the beach on the off season. Looking for some non mass produced franchise. A touch pricey but you get what you pay for. Speedy service was almost too good (light crowd) , felt a little rushed . Super friendly staff and Steak exceeded expectations. My tips ordered medium were spot on and melted on impact. The biggest surprise was my wife's medium well sirloin was tender and could be separated by fork. I'll definitely be back.
