The Tavrne - Myrtle Beach

This is an ideal local bar for enjoying drinks and catching a sports game. The atmosphere was great, and the bartender was friendly and attentive. We ordered wings and chicken strips; both were typical bar fare but were prepared exceptionally well. The wings were flavorful and substantial. There’s parking available right in front, and we had no trouble finding a spot. Just a heads-up for out-of-state visitors: smoking is permitted inside the bar.

This is a relaxed and welcoming local bar. The pizzas were excellent—hot and with a delightful crispiness to the crust. They were generously topped with sauce and cheese. Our bartender, Sunshine (her name is fitting), was both friendly and attentive. While smoking is permitted, it wasn't overwhelming during the midday hours.

Tony was particularly thrilled to find that his favorite beer, PBR, was only $2.25, so he ended up having a few! As for me, I enjoyed a refreshing Sprite with lemon and lime. The bar also serves food, but we didn’t try any during our visit. Located just a few blocks from the oceanfront, the Tavern Bar boasts a great atmosphere, and they even allow smoking! We wholeheartedly give it a solid 5 stars, although the restrooms could use some improvement. Thankfully, I always carry hand sanitizer in my bag! Overall, we definitely plan to stop here again in the future!

Just a stone throw from the beach, off street parking, a local's joint to hangout. Smoking inside allowed. Only 3 taps, Bud Lite, Cooper River and Goose IPA. Full bar if you need a bit more juice in your drink. Dart board, digital DJ..not a bad joint. Just slightly sketchy. Lol.

Definitely a dive bar. We love these places but the smoking is what always makes us end up leaving. Allie was nice and a good bar tender.
