The Rusty Reel Oceanfront Grill

Excellent food and service repeatedly ask your drinks and ask if you need anything. The homemade chips are wonderful and you get a great amount. The turkey sandwich and shrimp are great.

I own an apartment in this resort, but we weren't in the Rusty Reel. We read so-so evaluations and hesitated. I don't know who those reviews were because we had good food and excellent service! “Steve” was our server and was wonderfully entertaining! If you stay with the breakers, save your big parking space and go there. The prices still seem to be at pre-Covid/Ukraine conflict prices.

Rusty Reel is located on Ocean Blvd right next to Breakers Hotel on the beach side. This bar offers a lazy river, swimming pool, juke box and a great view of the beach. We visited Andy in the hotel bar below for drinks and lunch. Andy was super personable and offered us the drink of the daily special (passion fruit rum, oj, pj, n cj for $5. For lunch we have a shrimp/yster-po-boy and chicken Caesar wrap. Both came delicious!

We stay on the breakers for a birthday, and we thought at the Rusty Reel for a quick drink, Tim is by far the coolest bartender ever! Give the man an increase! 10 out of 10 would recommend as long as Tim works.

The staff was friendly and the food was good but WAY overpriced for what it was.
