River City Cafe - Myrtle Beach

I should have sent my burger back. Given the wait time, I expected it to be hot and fresh. The sweet potato fries were just average.

The fried mushrooms were phenomenal; I only managed to snap a quick photo with half a mushroom left, and they definitely deserve a 5. The clam chowder was hot and delicious, another 5. My Mahi salad was also outstanding, earning a solid 5. Bill had the bacon cheeseburger, which was juicy and piled high with toppings. However, he wasn't as impressed with the much-lauded onion rings, so he rated the burger a 5 but gave the rings a 2. The chicken strips were perfect, and the salad was great too, so that also gets a 5. Oh, and don’t forget to enjoy all the peanuts!

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food was fantastic! It was also affordable, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable.

Highly recommend! Menu has something for everyone. Jalapeño bacon jam burger was my latest selection, and DAMN was it good! Had a nice side of chili cheese fries as well. Perfect combo. 73rd ave location, I see you!

Always a great place for a burger. First time at this location and it was great. Very friendly staff. Park across street to avoid myrtle Beach parking meters.
