Mikatos Japanese Express - Myrtle Beach

Perfect little express hibachi spot. The online ordering system is so smooth and I haven’t had a problem any time I’ve used it! The place is clean, the food is fresh, hot, and delishhhhh (veggies are perfectly seasoned which i feel like is hard to come by at some hibachi express places around here!! Nice staff too! Went in last night to pick up an order and they were out of drink carriers and the sweet girl at the counter offered to help me carry everything out (into that empty food lion parking lot at night!! if I needed the help which I thought was too kind of her, it wasn’t even a large order that required help. Prices are where it’s at too especially considering increasing prices everywhere!! Love love love and will be back.

Ordered a chicken bowl and salad de salad with ginger dressing it was all precooked they put what was supposed to be fried rice in a bowl and put little pieces of hard, sweet chicken on top and some kind of sweet sauce. It was the worst meal I have ever had no taste at all other than being sweet the dressing was so bitter and thick you could not even even eat it the white sauce, taste like ketchup. If I could give it zero I would, I will never eat at this place again and you spend good money on this food

The best japanese take out! Love their onion soup and they special make me a crab roll we love eating here! Thank you for amazing food and service!! Today we got mini chicken bowl and shrimp entree and onion soup!

The service here is friendly. I have been a few times and on my last 2 visits I asked for no onions and of course got onions and they apologized and promised to take care of it the next time, well on the next visit again onions. They just need better communication but overall good food and service.

Absolutely terrible place do not go. The staff is friendly but you can tell they aint too bright. Even though this store has absolutely no business somehow they are always out of something you want.The food is subpar but no sauces and flavorless.My suggestion would be go down the street a little further off 17 and get some better quality and better service from elsewhere
