Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Myrtle Beach

It was fantastic! I tried the delicious jalapeño fried okra with creamy spinach and was blown away. I will definitely be returning before I go back to Ohio.

Our family had a great time at this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering its proximity to Broadway. The food is delicious, especially the grilled items. One of us really enjoyed the sweet sauce, while another preferred the original sauce. We were all too hesitant to try the spicy options. We had pork, smoked chicken, kids' nuggets, and fries. The kids particularly loved the rolls. We definitely want to come back again.

We ordered the pulled pork sandwich plate with mac and cheese and coleslaw, as well as a rib plate with waffle fries. We also tried the picnic pack, selecting brisket as our 1lb meat choice with a side of green beans and potato salad. We had the option of three BBQ sauces: sweet, hot, or original. I tried the sweet and original, and preferred the sweet sauce. The entire meal was delicious and flavorful, with the green beans standing out as a favorite.

I was in the mood for some ripening. came from Dickey, because I heard that they had great ribs. they must be really good because they were from them. that was the reason I went there to try the ripening. I understand with all the food shortage and not to find people working is why I don't have a star rate. I was also disappointed that there was no more sweet tea. that is the south we drink with our bbq. the staff was friendly, that was okay. the chicken wings were small and dry. I like the thick juicy wings. I am not sure if the smoke taste went in the bark breeze, there was no taste at all, but they could say that it was smoked because of the smoke ring. I think that the pulled pig was cooked over. it was dry and a little chalk like texture. with all that is said, I went an hour before closing so that the witness I got could have been in warmer all day. I'm pretty sure if I went to lunch, that would be better to eat and they would have ripped and cute tee.
