I had a disappointing experience at the Everest Restaurant. I paid $12 for a dish that came with overcooked vegetables. The dessert I received was barely a portion—just one small piece of corn on the cob, the stem of what seemed to be cauliflower, two tiny pieces of broccoli, and three small carrot slices. It was clear that everything came from a bag of frozen vegetables! I only ended up eating the carrots, while the corn and other items were unappetizing. I will definitely not be returning. I suggest going somewhere else!

Smiling is not their forte. Feeling as if I was bothering the female receptionist when asking her for a little help. When asked another question, she didnt even look at me. Customers dont seem to be valued at this place. She is working at the reception at 5.30 pm on Thursday 29/9/22. Need urgent customer service training or a replacement.

In October 2022, a free concert featuring Amber Lawrence took place. The playlist was a fantastic blend of new and older original songs, complemented by thoughtfully chosen covers.

The service is characterized by a friendly demeanor, with staff proving both helpful and welcoming. However, it may be noted that their inexperience suggests they have only recently taken up their roles, leading to a slight air of uncertainty. Nevertheless, the meals arrived at a reasonably swift pace, taking but fifteen minutes from the moment of ordering to the first bite. As for the ambiance, it struck a chord of tranquility, allowing for conversations to flow unimpeded, although it must be noted that the establishment was rather sparse in patrons during our visit. The menu is an intriguing blend of Chinese and Australian fare. The Australian selection featured classic RSL staples such as steak, pasta, and a carving station, while the Chinese offerings were extensive, boasting a variety of options ranging from boar to bark. We opted for the Chinese dishes; however, our experience was less than satisfactory. The bark in black bean sauce was excessively oily and laden with salt, while the rice was frustratingly sticky and devoid of flavor. The spring rolls, though, managed to redeem themselves slightly, presenting as palatable. In terms of pricing, the meals are decidedly economical. However, given the overall experience, I would not extend a strong recommendation. Perhaps it serves as a suitable stop for a hasty meal whilst passing through, but expectations should be tempered.
