The Cascade - Muscat

One of my favourite restaurant for Chinese . Have been dining here for more than a decade till now I have never been disappointed . I don’t recommend any dishes cuz everything is good . Service is also really good . Always have been .

This franchise of cascade is in Anna Nagar. There is sufficient seating space and I really like the overall decor and ambience. I had ordered the chicken and spinach dimsums(loved the stuffing) , the Lung Fung soup(chicken) which had minced chicken, mushrooms, beans, carrots, lemongrass. Other than the soup I had ordered the pad Thai noodles (with gravy), the lamb bell pepper and veg. Fried rice. My personal favourites from these are the lamb bell pepper(well cooked lamb in bell pepper sauce, can be paired with the fried rice) and the pad Thai noodles. Overall this place has got good service, the food portions are sufficient and it isn't too harsh on your pickets.

Nice ambience, quick service, good taste.Best part though was the portion sizes, absolutely huge. Each starter can easily serve 3 people. We tried the prawn tempura, Thai chili chicken and vegetable fried wontons. Prawn tempura stood out to be the best.Coming to the main course, the Thai red curry chicken was big enough to serve almost 4 people so definitely don’t order it alone. Taste was a little too mild but not bad. Overall, nothing was too brilliant to make me want to go back again and again but a very satisfying experience.

Why Cascade : If you’re looking for lip-smacking Chinese food and peaceful ambience, Cascade is the place. <br/ <br/ <br/ Food Served: Our regular orders include Chilli Beef, Schezwan Chicken Fried Rice and Chicken Dumplings. The Chilli Beef was more than great! It was more like chicken than beef because it was cooked SO WELL. Usually, in restaurants serving beef, we get them undercooked or over cooked, making the dish smell weird or appear chewy. The Cascade just blew my senses with the Chilli Beef. The fried rice is of a HUGE quantity, enough for a family of four. Although the pricing is a bit on the higher side, the quantity and quality always has us coming back for more! <br/ <br/ <br/ Service: The waiters are attentive and sweet. Nothing to complain about :

Authentic Chinese food.Tasty preparations, with good service makes the day. The chicken paper roll was very tasty, but felt the quantity to be quite small.Overall, enjoyed the dinner. Please keep up the good taste.
