Kolkata Mithai - Muscat

I was planning to go there but i did not have much expectations. But surprisingly this place is good. The place is little congested. But thankfully they have AC. I have ordered samosa chat, gobhi paratha, aalo paratha and as per owners suggestion a sweet called “Chamcham”. Samosa chat and aalo parathas were good. Gobhi parathas were excellent. But the chamcham was awesome. I don’t eat sweets much but this sweet was very good. The prices were very economic. This all item cost me just 165rs. Service was good. I am sure I will visit them again.

Heard about this long back. Went today to try out some dishes. Singara(Samosa) and Vegetable Chop was tasty but almost cold (6:30 PM). Had Lord Chom-chom and Kalakand... awesome authentic taste... Definitely going again to visit again. So many dishes (Rolls Parothas) yet to try.... One suggestion to the owners:  The eatery needs some nice decoration for the interiors...

A good place in the locality for some Bengali style food. I was very excited about the place and finally got a chance last week. The Panipuri is really good here, they use good amount of Asafoetida Hing in Hindi) to make the Pani Bengali style. A must try if you happen to visit.The much talked Aloo Paranthas, were decent enough, nothing exquisite about it which I was expecting after reading an article about it in The Hindu. Coming to the sweets, Paneer Payasam Chanar Payesh in Bengali) and the Rasagullas are a must try in the sweets section. I ended up trying a lot of other sweets too, but they were just ok. They need to work on the amount of sugar they use.The Egg Roll were good, but I have had better. In all, a decent place to visit if your taste buds crave for the Bong flavor.

I have been to this place twice. Paratha and chat are seriously awesome..... Must try...... After trying many place got the home made paratha. It was an authentic north India paratha.

The new non vegetarian stand they have outside is finger licking good! The mangsho and the rolls are fab! It's also a good joint for a quick parantha and some puchkas! Haven't tried the desserts yet.
