Ordered Corn Chilly Cheese Toast and a Masala Thumps up.<br/ <br/ The taste of the Sandwich was ok, stuffing’s of corn and cheese are very minimal for the price they charge (Rs.60/ , no Fizz in the Masala Thumps Up, the reason may be , they pour the Thumps Up from 2 liter pet bottle instead of opening a new bottle and they charged Rs.20/ <br/ <br/ Location 3.5/5.0; Food 3.5/5.0; VFM 3.0/5.0
A very cheap sandwich shop located in Anna Nagar , Ashok Pan House also has its branches at few other places. We have made a habit of visiting this place whenever we go to Anna Nagar for their bhujia sandwhich. <br/ <br/ The bhujia cheese sandwhiches they make here are really good and are made with perfect composition of chutney , cheese and veggies. There is also a grilled version of the sandwich. The bhujia puff is awesome too. They also provide masala thumbs up , masala pepsi , etc. , i.e , soft drinks with jaljira. They give take aways in neat packing with ketchup packets. <br/ <br/ They can improve the variety by adding in more sandwiches and sauces. That will really bring the crowd back into this shop which used to be really crowded a few years back.
Herbivore's Chat experiences Ashok Pan House <br/ <br/ Been here numerous times for their sandwich n Masala thumps up. <br/ <br/ A game of shuttle badminton tower park followed by a veg samdwich masala thumps up was a routine fr me few years back. <br/ <br/ Their bhujia sandwich and the other puff varieties are good too.<br/ <br/ No ambiance n all, you got to stand and eat your food. Taste wise good. <br/ <br/ A place which gave a lot of memories and would i visit again ??<br/ <br/ Occasionally, yes.
This place is great. It's located just after the Iyappan temple, on the left hand side and can be easy to miss if you're going there for the first time. This is a great place to have quick and delicious food on the go. Check out the bhujia sandwich, puff and the chilli cheese toast!
Well this place has been around for a long time now. We used to visit this place almost every alternate day during our school days. After a tiring day at school,we used to get down from the bus at the signal near Ayyappan temple and walk to this place to have our favourite bhujia sandwich.<br/ <br/ The sandwiches with bhujia are the best around here and we used to go here especially for this reason. Bhujia sandwich is a must when you go here. The puff here is one I'm very fond off, too. The guy cuts it into two and serves it with onions and pudina chutney in between which added to the taste. Have tried most of the items on the menu. The grill sandwich is a good option too when you're really hungry.<br/ We always used to finish off with a thums up. Beware of the flies though.
