Rolling Moon Sushi Rolls - Murrieta

Amazing fish in Murrieta? You bet! I've lived in Japan for 4 years prior to moving to Murrieta and the food/service from here is on point. It's been sad because they've been closed for almost a year now due to Covid. I called this morning...still not open. Oh but I'll keep calling.

Made reservations and went in for lunch with my sister. Because of the restrictions you could only go in if you had reservations. it started off as just my sister and I and another couple. More people started showing up without reservations and the girl who was working kept sitting them down. We had already been waiting for about 15 min and she hadn't taken our order. She finally came brought us our drinks we asked for lemon slices, she took our order and kept walking by without our lemon. I understand she was busy but if she was the only one working she should if never taken more guest than she can handle. Im giving this place a 5 star because the food was AMAZING!! We love sushi and its hard to find a good place but this place did it for us. We will be returning again but we hope the service is a little better.

Awesome food, very nice staff, regularly awesome vibes. They charge fair pricing and the food quality is great. Highly recommended.

I love this restaurant but it’s confusing now with the current situation we drove by and it seems close we call and they don’t answer anybody know what’s going on? I know they had been working on renovations last August. They could easily have at least eight tables outside I don’t know why they’re not taking reservations or walk-ins. I’m going to give them one more try I really miss eating here regularly. Food and device always 5 ’s

Everything was very good. Not busy for a Saturday lunch. Worth the visit. The crunch roll was large and the baked mussels also were large and not cut in half like other places seem to be doing. The beer could have been colder and a liked the server opened the bottle at the table, like it should be done. Sushi seemed fresh and minimal rice. The blue fin was outstanding!! So tender it melted in my mouth.
