Garden City Pavilion Arcade Gigi's Grill

While there are still many fun arcade games to play, the experience is not the same. There are no more immediate tickets given for playing a particular game. You now have to buy a game card and your tickets are accumulated on the game card. There are also more button pushing games versus actual hands-on active involvement games like the Whack a Gator used to be. This used to be our favorite game, but was replaced with the button pushing version of the game which was not much fun. The place is still a clean (inside) and safe place to take your kids to play games. But overall I would rate the place a 3 instead of a 5.

This is hands down the best arcade! The food is delicious, and they have an amazing selection of ice cream. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Mrs. Pat. If you're visiting Grand Beach, this place is a must for fantastic food and fun games. The prices are very reasonable as well.

We were really looking forward to bringing the kids here, thinking that an arcade on the beach would be a fun experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointment. Half of the games were out of order, and some just took our card without working at all. The prizes for winning games were quite underwhelming. I wouldn't recommend this place; your kids are likely to be disappointed. Trust me, the pier has much better arcade options. The only reason I gave it three stars was because the food was great – the Philly cheesesteaks were amazing!

I'm ole skool ? I love the arcade games. This is a 2 story facility. New games downstairs and the old ones upstairs. They take quarters and tokens. Gi Gi's is open for good eats. Something for the whole family.

Pretty cool arcade. I would 've given it a 5, but a bunch of games are out of order or have things broken. (DDR2 on one side had the right position that didn 't work. It made it slightly frustrating for competing cousins.? . The workers were competent helpful. Two teenage boys 13 14 were able to kill about 3 hours in there. ? Cheesecurds were an interesting treat/snack! :
