After visiting Red Brick Deli in Murphy, I can confidently say that it is the place to go for delicious sandwiches with the hometown charm that Murphy is known for. The owner was friendly and even brought a treat for our dog. Unfortunately, he mentioned that he will be closing soon to enjoy some rest, which is the only downside to our visit. The Rueben sandwich and meatball parm panini were both excellent and exceeded our expectations. We plan on returning next week to try another sandwich and hopefully get our hands on one of their popular cheesecakes before they sell out. Bravo, Red Brick Deli!
You can purchase three days' worth of deli meat and ingredients for less than the price of one sandwich and drink at this restaurant, and the taste will be superior as well.
As a happy New Yorker living in the PNW for the past forty years, one thing I've been craving but understanding I might not find in Murphy is deli food. However, I am pleased to say that Red Brick Deli in Murphy is the place to go for delicious sandwiches with that hometown feel Murphy is known for. The owner was kind enough to give our dog some turkey and mentioned he will soon be retiring, which is the saddest part of this review. I had the meatball park panini and Tom had the Rueben sandwich with potato salad, both of which exceeded our expectations. We plan on returning next week to try another sandwich and hopefully they will have the cheesecake, which I hear is so good it sells out quickly. Bravo Red Brick Deli!
