El Maguey #4 Mexican - Murphy

It was my 1st. visit to this restaurant,stopped after work for take-out order. They were preparing to close so I can’t rate the atmosphere there, however it was clean with a very nice ambience. The staff is friendly thoughtful, my order was readily prepared, I was quite impressed with the quality ingredients, along with how delicious the food is. There is a Mexican style restaurant located in in the same plaza as where I’m working called El Manzanillo which is fair conveniently located to me but honestly, I will gladly drive the ten minutes to El Maguey from now on.

So we sat for more than 30 minutes. Chips salsa only. Our waitress took our drink order and wrote it all down and then 10 min later (now 40 min in) another lady joined her to figure out our order. (It was a beer, waters 2 margaritas) we got the two margaritas 15 minutes later but our friend never got her beer and we never got waters and our waitress never came back to take our order either. We gave up and left. It was sad. We have had a nice meals there last Dec-may23 but we were really disappointed and won't go back.

First time visit our lunch was very very good, excellent service, will definitely return for another lunch or dinner soon and considering how huge this place is it would also be great for large groups!

First time. We went for lunch. We both got the Lunch Chimichanga with shredded beef. It was the best. A little small but delicious. And there's NO fat in the beef. A few hours from home but we'll definitely come back.

It was great, whole family loved their food and one of the ladies at the bar even won my 3y/o a toy out of a claw machine. Definitely gonna go back. Fair warning they close at 9!
