Contribuiți la feedbackWe chose Made South Catering for our customers' Christmas celebration this year, and we couldn't be happier with our decision! They made the entire process smooth from start to finish, and the food was fantastic! Working with Savannah was a delight; she was incredibly helpful in coordinating everything. Having the option for drinks, a bartender, and a server was a huge advantage and made everything much simpler. Our guests had only wonderful things to say about the delicious food and the beautiful setup. You can't go wrong with Made South for your event!
I visited Dallas Jane last night with my friends Carmine and Rachel Grasso. We decided to go on a Tuesday, which is “Date Night” at Dallas Jane, offering a chance to sample various dishes at a discounted price. We kicked things off with an appetizer of freshly baked bread and seaweed butter. It sounds odd, but I have to say it was incredible. The bread had a perfect crust and a soft interior, and the seaweed butter added a unique and delightful flavor. We also ordered the Corn Crab appetizer, which included fresh pasta, corn broth, crab salad, and Parmesan. It was delicious and disappeared in no time. I started with the Tomato Salad, which was a beautiful mix of meaty heirloom tomatoes, burrata, corn, ramps, Duke mayonnaise, and breadcrumbs. Though it was listed as an appetizer, it could easily be served as a side with any main. The combination of aromas and textures was spot on, and the dish was light and refreshing. For my main course, I opted for the Prime NY Strip served with Elotes (spiced sweet corn), chayote, and Cotija cheese. The steak was cooked to perfection—medium-rare—and bursting with flavor. The corn accompaniment was delicious, although it had a bit more heat than I prefer. Carmine and Rachel chose the Wild Maine Scallops, which I’ve had before and can attest are outstanding. Dessert at Dallas Jane is always an exciting experience for the taste buds. I tried the Polenta Pound Cake with champagne-poached peaches, honey, and basil ice cream. The challenge was to identify the fusion of flavors in the dish. Basil ice cream? Yes, absolutely! It was surprisingly good! You might end up googling the ingredients, but the combination was phenomenal. While I’m not usually a fan of cheesecake, Carmine and Rachel devoured the chocolate cheesecake topped with cherry preserves, matcha crumb, and lavender cream! As for service, it was impeccable and the staff exceeded expectations. **June 2018: Another Great Visit** This was my second visit to Dallas Jane, and I brought a friend along. For appetizers, we had the Crawfish Hush Puppies and the Korean Meatballs, both of which were excellent. For my main course, I chose the Sea Trout accompanied by poached vegetables and a fantastic sauce. My friend had the Halibut served with white asparagus, trumpet mushrooms, and Beluga lentils. Both fish dishes were exceptional, with sauces that elevated them. This was my first experience with Sea Trout, and I loved the flavors and texture of the fish. I can’t quite remember the name of the French dessert we had, but it was wonderful! Overall, Dallas Jane is a fantastic addition to the Murfreesboro dining scene, offering unique dishes and flavors that create a truly memorable culinary experience.
I had an amazing dining experience at Dallas Jane! Their signature cocktails are both delicious and unique compared to other bars. The coal mining dish is definitely a must-try. For our small plates, we enjoyed Korean wings, toad hushpuppies, and caramelized okra, all of which were fantastic! For our main course, we had pork chops topped with peach salsa and grits, as well as ricotta gnocchi with shrimp. We wrapped up our meal with champagne-poached peaches, which were simply delightful. Overall, it was a wonderful experience from beginning to end!
This place never disappoints! The waiting staff is still a little green, but we live in a college town where it's hard to find waiters who care. The food is always amazing. Meals are creative and fresh. The drinks are very well made. I love going a happy hour and sitting at the bar. The bartenders are a big conversation partner. You pay a little more because of the high quality, but it's totally worth it.
Dallas Jane never disappoints, from unique cocktails to a seasonally changing creative menu. And the desserts....wow. The food and atmosphere is so unexpected for Murfreesboro, as chef driven restaurants aren't common there. Don't let the strip mall location deter you. The moment you walk through the front door, you're forget all about it. Never had a bad dish or experience.
