Better Than Yo Mommas, Food Truck Cartering Services

The City Cafe has slipped from the great service and food that I remember from a few years ago. The waitress and other staff were pleasant... but we waited, nearly an hour, for our breakfast. When the food arrived it was cold. My sausage was both hard and cold. After a couple of bites... I was done. Paid my check and left never to return.

Worst food I’ve had in a long time… restaurant was run down and I couldn’t breathe due to the musk, plus water was dripping on my boyfriend and I (and our food). Server was impatient and unfriendly, food was bland and disgusting. How do you mess up chicken salad and lemonade?? Worst place in Murfreesboro by far.

From the looks this business is catering only. I drove a distance to be let down.

I absolutely loved this restaurant!!! The food is delicious. The whole place is inviting!!! It is small, but the service is great. I will definitely be going back to City Cafe the next time I am in Nashville.

The City Cafe is a true gem that I wish we had found much sooner right by the square in Murfreesboro. The cinnamon bun was so much better than anything Cinnabon makes. I enjoyed the Western omelet with a Bisket, my wife had two eggs over easy with true fried potatoes (not those cut squares other restaurants force on you) and biskets with gravy. Granted the gravy needed some cream added for flavor but it was still good.
