Visited last week ,with golfing friends , you need to book ,was busy. Shared and antipasto plate with hubby, and friends helped us finish it . Very generous portion, nice bread and cheese, meats were ok , nothing special . Nice chapirete wine ,well chilled. Margarita pizza, was what it was , and the Vitelllo tonnato was fine. Nice service throughout, and the whole restaurant had a good feel about it . Spotless loos. 65€ …. Of the three restaurants we visited in the area ,this was the best.
We visited here whilst on holiday on La Torre Golf. The restaurant is really smart inside, at the front, but unfortunately, we were put on a table at the very back it felt like a back room and didn't have much ambiance. I suppose it's the luck of the draw really as they were busy. We had garlic bread to start which was very good. I had spaghetti bolognese for my main. That too was pretty good. I just found it all a bit pricey for what it actually was and left feeling a bit underwhelmed. It's good, but not great. Service was initially slow and took us a while to get our drinks. But again, it was busy.
Visited with friends. I asked for the house red wine and then another waiter came over and recommended another bottle at just a euro difference. My seafood pasta came out with a yummy surprise, I wont spoil it but it was so worth it, others had the calzone which was a winner!
4 of us had booked here as just wanted a quiet meal without any entertainment. Only one section of the restaurant was being used with about 30 people. We knew what the menu was in advance, but hadn’t realised quite how much food would be involved. Canapés to start, then 3 small plates, and then a fish main course and a lamb main course. With a sorbet between courses and dessert, there was no way we could get through both the mains, so took the lamb home for another day. All wine, beer and soft drinks included in the 95 euro price. All food was well cooked and nicely presented, and friendly service. Left about 11.30pm and then watched fireworks over the lake.
