My husband favorite spot . We always have a great time at this Pepe's. All the workers know us and are always friendly and helpful.

Visiting from out of town, and decided to go here with my mother. She enjoyed herself, but my meal was less than pleasant. I ordered the shrimp burrito, on the menu it reads that it comes with rice and beans. Taste left much to desire, but I may be spoiled since I live in Texas and have access to authentic Mexican cuisine. Anyways, I received my meal and questioned it because it looked different from past visits but was told that’s just how it comes. Cool, I’m not in the kitchen nor a regular patron. After our lunch, we got the check and my mom commented on how much more than usual it was. Why? Because we were charged for a burrito dinner. No problem, easy fix right? Well not when you’re dealing with a condescending host who asked me several times, “Well did you eat the rice and beans?” I told him I ate what was on my plate, was I supposed to return it, even though the menu says all burritos come with rice and beans? Not sure if he is unfamiliar with the menu, but the condescending tone needs to be addressed by management. I also asked to speak to the manager but was not given the opportunity to do so. As someone who does consultant work for small businesses, I suggest an etiquette and training course for the young man. I’ll be sure to be back, to see if this is regular behavior or not.
