But the teahouse, as old as it is, should be very...managed, well maintained and cleaned, and the products should be state of the art, even the service should have a very high standard (as high as the prices!, and everything is far, very far from it. It's just value, but not an exclusive, the view is. If you want to wonder about a beautiful place, walking or in a car, it can be worthy, but there are also other possibilities for it, and for a brunch or pastry, you can go to Riche or Our Dream, have a big moment, and go more than satisfied for a lot less money.
From 1 to 5 tea and food are a 5th coffee is a 2 (it could be so much better). We had tea on the terrace because the view is amazing. The place owes a cat that they allow to stand on the tables, even those who sit customers. I don't like cats, and in any case not stand every 3 minutes to move the cat away from our table. Supposing I can avoid coffee, I cannot avoid the cat experience that was terrible (especially for a place with prices that high).
We climbed to the tea restaurant l. This is a challenge because the slope is steep, but was definitely worth the effort. We had tea, cheesecake and juices from scratches. All amazing
This is an amazing cabin built in 1934 overlooking the lakes and mountains of San Martin de los Andes. We had coffee, hot chocolate and tea with some sweets and everything was amazing. The view is amazing from inside and outside the cabin. It does... packed so early. The seat is served first.
Tea, scones and cake are good here. (Coffee is not so great. But let's face it, it's the view and historic character which are the real attractions. Sadly, some elements of customer comfort were lacking during our two visits. On one occasion, the log fire...had been poorly set-up, and smoke filled the café. But none of the staff seemed to have any idea what to do about ridding the room of smoke. Eventually a door was opened and then the fire extinguished. We visited a second time when constant rain limited other activities. Mercifully, the log fire was behaving. However, the loud pop music playing seemed completely incongruous. Admittedly, we should have suggested that they turn it down. Instead, we didn't linger long.
