The whole town of Puramarca lives off of tourism, and this restaurant is no exception. This notwithstanding, it is a good place where to try local products in a nicer than most (in Puramarca) ambience. There is an interior patio for al fresco dining as well as large, well lit rooms inside. The Nortena Salad (salad of the North of Argentina) is a great example of local food, containing Andean potato varieties and local cheese, and it is delicious. Here you can also order llama meat (which should be leaner and healthier than beef), but unfortunately the llama milanesa (breaded steak) was too thin to really appreciate the quality of the meat. Overall, while remaining very affordable (ridiculously cheap for US tourists), it costs a bit more and offer better food than lots of other places in Puramarca. It is definitely geared toward tourists, but I would not call it a tourist trap. It can definitely get busy when a couple of tourist busses arrive at the same time, but the service is reasonably quick even then. Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian mix salads (but not vegan) Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ARS 3,500–4,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
A restaurant with a wide variety of dishes. In my case I ordered quinoa milanesas with Andean potatoes that were very delicious and fresh. My partner ordered llama milanesa with the same garnish. It should be noted that the Milanese women were big and rich. It is clear that the menu was designed depending on local products. Rich, simple and good service. As an extra, local musicians show up to sing something, all in good spirits. The tour guide took us, nice place but very basic, everyone gets together at the same time and it overflows, so the food comes out very sloppy, stale or poorly finished, we asked for basic things to get out quickly and it still wasn't good, example mila with dipped garnish in oil, they charge you table service and the bread looks like it was the day before with some bland beans. I would not go back. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ARS 3,500–4,000 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
