Contribuiți la feedbackTogether with my colleagues, I was in Sarovah for some lunch. It was always quite crowded, so it sometimes takes time to order food and drinks. The menu is also quite extensive at lunch, so everyone should find something that tastes it. Vegetarians are not too short. Unfortunately, I was rather disappointed by the foods. The diarrhea of Indian cuisine and its spices do not come true; Mostly the food tasted hot water. Maybe that's a limit that only applies to the lunch table. It was always nice to see and was appealing and served.
The Indian restaurant near the university is very welcoming with its pleasant ambience, also the lunch card offers a wide selection of dishes. Unfortunately, the quality of the food does not convince me, despite colourful spices, the food remains faded, the chicken I had tasted last but was neither salted nor flavored in any other way, and that where the Indian spice palette would now really offer enough. The service is quite slow, and with a bigger society it has happened that half is already finished with food before the other half has even begun. The kindness of the service sometimes leaves something to be desired. I can't recommend the Indian.
The food is actually not bad. This was my second time visiting the restaurant. I had done a take away from the restaurant once during a business trip and the food was actually quite good. This time, I was with my wife and we decided...to take a break from German food and have Indian instead. The waiter we had was agressive and very confrontational. I asked for tap water which he said they did not serve. I asked for the price of bottled water which was at EUR for a bottle of Evian Being from France, where you can ask for free Tao water at any restaurant, I jokingly said that water in Germany is very expensive. At this point the waiter went on a rant about customers complaining about water and how was the restaurant supposed to pay for the furniture and the cutlery if they couldn't charge for water... Now I imagine that the restaurant is not serving food on a non-profit no-loss basis. So his specific comment made no sense. He then came back and began his second rant about France...How his experience in France was bad because French people did not let him use their restaurant toilet for free and that he had to buy coffee to use the toilet...and he added that in Germany you can just go to a restaurant and pee without having to buy anthing. So that is already a good thing. If you are in the city centre and can't find a toilet, head on to this restaurant and use their toilet for free. My wife inquired about a beautiful Ganesha statue from our waiter who snapped at her saying I don't know about Indian Gods, I am Muslim.. The craziness didn't end there. I wanted to pay with my credit card but their machine was very questionable. It bricked twice and the waiter did a hard reset twice by pulling out the batteries. Then he looked at my card like it was some alien technology and declared that my platinum credit card was broken... I did not need another second to decide what review I was going to give this restaurant. The owner of the restaurant can hire whoever he or she likes but it's their responsibility to train them in basic etiquette. The restaurant seemed like a local tea stall hangout as there were around people sitting there talking and stating at us, not a very fun thing to have to endure while eating. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED !
The staff at the restaurant is very bad, too rude and abusive. Last time when I went to the restaurant the waiter refused to serve water and upon waiting for another waiter I had to wait for water for atleast more. The waiter then...started behaving rude and spoiling the experience completely. One of the waiter was behaving racist by saying you are not Dutch and we serve Dutch people only. After all this a huge argument erupted between us and made the other one or two guests also experience uncomfortable moment there. The moment was almost close to being physical tiff with the staff members as they all grouped together as a group against us. I strictly recommend to not to go to such place at all.
Food is okay (except disgusting vegetable soup) , but service is the worst ever experienced in a restaurant. Waiter rude and enjoys it: bill without asking, rushing us to eat faster, and worse.
