Thai Smile 2 - Muncie

I love Thai Smile because they offer a wide variety of options. Many of their dishes can be made with tofu or vegetables. My favorite dishes are the milder green curry and the garlic and black pepper entree (I like to add ginger to it). The tofu is cooked in a block and then cut into rectangles, with four sides browned and crisp, soaking in the flavors of the dish. It's easy to order their rice and noodle dishes without egg, as they are very accommodating. However, there is no vegan Tom Yum option and some dishes cannot be made vegan.

This restaurant is relaxed enough for solo dining, but elegant enough for a prom group. It's consistently busy because the food is excellent.

Thai Smile 2 is the sister restaurant to Thai Smile in Frankfort, Kentucky, and has been a part of the Muncie community for over 15 years. They are known for offering some of the best Thai food in the area, especially their curry dishes, noodle dishes, and hot and spicy tofu. However, they do fall short when it comes to their spring rolls as they only serve ones with meat in them. Additionally, their lunch soup contains chicken stock. They make up for these shortcomings by providing extra fried spring rolls. It would be great if they offered non-meat spring rolls. Despite these minor issues, Thai Smile 2 is our second favorite Thai restaurant in Muncie and definitely worth a visit, especially if you are near the Ball State University campus. The service and food quality have always been good whenever we have dined there.

This restaurant serves up some truly delicious dishes! The Pad Thai was excellent and I also enjoyed the complimentary wonton soup and rice on the side. The portion of Pad Thai was so generous that I was able to enjoy it for both lunch and dinner. All of this for just $9.50, making it the best deal in Muncie. I highly recommend trying their Pad Thai. The meal type is lunch and the price per person is $1-10. I would give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5.
