Ziya - Mumbai

This restaurant has a 5-star location with a stunning view of Marine Drive. It is recommended to visit during the day to fully appreciate the view. Making a reservation in advance can help you secure a table by the window. The tandoori aloo and thepla tacos were outstanding appetizers, while the papads were also tasty. For the main course, we had chilli garlic naan, zeera rice, and the house speciality maharani dal, also known as dal makhni. The dal makhni was a bit too salty, but it may have been an isolated incident. The staff was friendly and accommodating, explaining the dishes well. I plan on returning to this restaurant the next time I am in Mumbai and highly recommend it. Overall, a must-visit for a special night out. Enjoy!

Ziya is one of the best romantic and sea-facing restaurants in Mumbai. It is a fine dining restaurant that serves North Indian and Mughlai cuisines, along with signature cocktails, mocktails, desserts, and appetizers. Ziya is located on the first floor of The Oberoi Hotel, Nariman Point, Mumbai, with a breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea. The restaurant features a live kitchen and has an awesome ambiance. During my weekend lunch with a friend, we enjoyed dishes like Subz Jaipur and Tadka Dal for mains, served with Saffron Sesame Naan and Lacha Paratha. We also had Jaituni Veg Biryani paired with Beetroot Rose Petal Raita and Papad. For dessert, we tried the highly recommended Paan Kulfi, which was a combination of Pan Kulfi, Pan Rabdi, and Mukhwas Granola, as well as the Pistachio Gulab Jamun Creme Brulee, both of which were fabulous and delicious.

The restaurant has delicious food and is an excellent choice for a large group looking for a classy dining experience. Making a reservation was simple - just a quick phone call away. The manager, Nigel, was incredibly accommodating. The only regret was opting for the a la carte menu instead of the 5-course set menu, which is their specialty. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Ziya is an amazing restaurant with delicious food and a stunning view of the Queens Necklace (Marine Drive). The ambiance is incredibly attractive and it is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The staff are very attentive and catered to our preferences. A must-visit in South Bombay. Can't wait to visit Ziya again soon.

I highly recommend celebrating special occasions at Ziya and indulging in their delectable lamb dishes. The mousse cake, biryani, and lamb chops were truly soul-satisfying.
