Antigua Real - Mukwonago

What I love about Antigua is that they do have the typical Mexican food offerings BUT they also have unusual and fun items. The decor is very fun too and the people working there are so nice.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in the area. The Latin cuisine is authentic and delicious and it's difficult to pick a favorite dish. I've never had a disappointing meal here. The atmosphere is beautiful and the waitstaff are always friendly and attentive. So glad to have this establishment in our community.

I am puzzled that Antigua Real received less than 4 stars. I love their food and have always had friendly service. The food is not the same old Tex-Mex style, which I love, too. This food represents other regions of Mexico and Central America. Fabulous, flavorful options. We ate there again just yesterday and once again, all three of us moaned in appreciation of the complex flavors and freshness of the food. Please try it. Good for lunch or dinner. We have also enjoyed getting takeout. Outdoor seating is comfortable, though lacks a view. Good shade for lunch.

Very nice restaurant with excellent service. You don't have to wait long most nights, even on Fridays or Saturdays. And they have a very lengthy menu. The food is always fresh and delicious. The decor is really beautiful and exotic.

I swung in because I was craving some Mexican. I was by myself, so I sat at the bar. Service was great and immediate. I ordered the fajitas with steak and al pastor. The steak was good, but I was thoroughly impressed with the al pastor. Not sure if it was a fresh batch, but it had so much flavor, I was blown away. Don't change a thing and I'll be a regular.
