Contribuiți la feedbackAbsolutely the worst Wiener Schnitzel I have ever had, and I had lots of them... ! They came like big balloons, dry, filled with Air and a very, very think slice of meat that was not thicker than a normal slice of ham, approx. 2 millimeters thick. In regard to the high price: a desaster. Never again...!
We had just traveled from Vienna to Munich, but apparently we weren't quite ready to leave the Viennese food behind yet! This restaurant was extremely beautiful and the food was absolutely fantastic. We had a wonderful and memorable meal here. To start, we shared the consomme with semolina dumpling and I highly recommend trying this it was so rich and comforting. For entrees, I ordered Wiener schnitzel and my husband ordered fried chicken breasts with green salad and potato salad. Both were excellent but, of the two, I actually thought the chicken was even tastier than the schnitzel. For dessert we shared a Viennese topfenknodel, which is cheese dumplings in a plum sauce. We also had excellent wine. The only drawback was that there was no English version menu and our server didn't really speak English. Fortunately, a kind guest at the next table helped us translate everything and it all worked out just fine.
Taking Americans to an Italian restaurant is always an eye opening experience. For a start there's no sugar in the tomato sauce! This is a good example of how Italian food should be made and served. Plenty of anti pasti, delicious pasta and a small but good selection of fish and meat dishes. All washed down with some excellent wines. The limoncello is a bit strong!
A really good restaurant for having lunch with couple of friends. We absolutely adored our well prepared meal and the cozy atmosphere in that place.
This place was absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend ordered these vegetarian spinach dumplings which were served in a delicious buttery sauce with mushrooms and tomatoes. I ordered chicken schnitzel with potato salad. It was not your standard German schnitzel which is as big as your head- rather a more refined size, and very succulent. After we had a warm apple strudel served with berries, whipped cream and vanilla gelato. Couldn't find a fault. Was ~€50 for two mains, dessert and two apple juices. Cannot recommend higher as it was nice to enjoy small high quality portions at reasonable prices.
