Contribuiți la feedbackI went to this restaurant last week with my husband and it was even better than the last time. Their menu changes according to the season, my husband had duck with asparagus and they were long, thick and many. I had fish with risotto and it was delicious. The ambiance is romantic and international, since it is in the Arcona hotel. I put 4/5 because we waited an hour for the dish, but it was worth it!!!!
Highly recommend - best filet I've ever had and the sirloin was amazing too. Breakfast buffet was also good which was included in out hotel stay.
I had a lunch menu with some colleagues and it was absolutely incredible. It isn't always the same but basically you can choose between starter and main or main and dessert. I had a tom yum soup (which is quite disappointing at most places) but here it was on the sport. As for main, i had tortellini, very simple but very very tasty. Both were simply delicious. Some of my colleagues had creme brule and they seemed quite happy with it. The service was excellent, very attentive and nice. The interior is very modern and cinema themed. The restaurant is actually a part of the arcona hotel which is a movie theatre themed boutique hotel. I will def be going there again!
Went as part of a Travelzoo voucher while in Munich for a weekend away. €19 for what we expected was tapas with 2 glasses of wine...well let's put it this way, we didn't need any more food afterwards. The meal, service and experience was beyond any expectation we had. The food turned out to be 3 courses - not just small pieces of tapas to go with your wine. In fact, we pointed out to the fantastic waiter that they offered too much as there was little up spend we could have ordered in terms of food...well part from a fantastic plate of cheese that we had for pudding (€14).In terms of the drink - I am new to wine, so asked him to do a wine pairing for each course. He was just brilliant - you put a lot of trust into a waiter when you ask this as they could give you the most expensive wine in the house, yet he didn't. The bill came to under €50 (not including the voucher) and included 2 puddings (cheese and another) and 6 additional glasses of wine. Very good value.Couldn't recommend this wine bar further - if you are in the area, it is a must!
This is a restaurant which is attached to the Arcona Living Hotel in Munich. It was interesting to note that they had more than 4 -5 vegetarian/ vegan options so we were interested to try it out.The ambience was casual, contemporary and so was the menu. There were some nice options in vegetarian food - - fresh Buffalo Mozzarella on a bed of tangy salsa sauce- clear tomato soup with a white wine reduction- Indian ginger flavoured fusion rice dish - fresh pasta in a pesto sauce with vegetablesAll the dishes were delicious with neat, clean flavours and the best part of the meal was that they offered a small dish option which allowed you to call for more dishes to try. This was appreciated. The wine menu was innovative and the dessert menu even more so - it was in the form a film clap board and they served us ice cream scoops for Euro 1/scoop. Incredible!!I enjoyed the experience and the service a lot and look forward to visiting it on my next trip to Munich - I think I would even make a special trip to this restaurant as I enjoyed the meal so much.Do try it out!
