Trattoria Tiberio - München

Accidentally we ran into this place while dropping off our rented car at Rent A Car. Good food quality, very friendly service and also very decent prices.

This Italian restaurant is nearby by the hotel my German Uncle stayed. this area are bunch of supermarket but no really decent eating place to stay. Only King burger, Subway such as fast food chain store. This place looks nothing special, if you go there...first time, you probably do not even want to get in there. However, we just went in and it is surprisedly pretty nice place with many customers. I went there with my uncle times in one week because he is lazy old guy so that I have three different time in the same restaurant instead of going to city town. Their service is not quite quick, you must to take time to wait, this place is not pretty big but suit enough with at least people depends how size they are. It seems many people took pizza from this restaurant. Their special sauce should be a significant receipt. The sauce would be the same if you take some pasta such as Linguine with mussels and Spaghetti with seafood. Salad is also pretty recommend. In three times, I am sure that this place is kind of popular and many people would go there very often.

Unfriendly, inattentive and slow service, we did not feel welcome. The pizza tasted artificial and the pizza crust was thick and doughy. Can’t recommend.

My husband and I had dinner here last night. It was within walking distance of our hotel and had good reviews on TA. It didn’t look open when we walked in, but we were greeted immediately and taken to the garden out back...it was lovely!...We sat in a little alcove that offered more privacy than the general area which I chose to be as far as possible from smokers. It worked pretty well and was a bit more romantic. Our server was excellent and explained that the restaurant is his family’s business. His uncle is the chef and he is good at what he does. I had the Penne alla Wodka (vodka) and my husband had the grilled steak with herbs. Both dishes were delicious and large enough that we had the leftovers for dinner tonight. Still good! Highly recommend.

Minutes from the LetoMotel München City Ost Hotel. Popped in for a bit of dinner and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We had pasta and Pizza and loved every bit of it. Friendly easy going atmosphere and the waiters were very...helpful and even had English menus, much appreciated! Next time we visit Munich I will definitely return.
