Longgrain Thai Cuisine - München

A very nice Thai restaurant, in which value is placed on high quality and fresh ingredients! They cook with ingredients that come exclusively from Thailand. Before ordering, Thai vegetables showed us that we do not know in Europe (the small round eggplants, special beans, etc.... There are several vegetarian dishes that are very tasty. Especially recommended is the classic pad Thai! What promised me a lot is the simple furnishings and the quiet ambience, so you could be super entertaining at the table for five (which is often not the case in the crowded Munich restaurants). This place is absolutely worth a trip to the north of Munich!

The restaurant / snack barely notices when passing because it is not directly on the street. But it's good that there are valuation sports that make me aware of that. It took a few months to finally get here. Enter the place. immediately notices the note on the door: Please close the door. Unfortunately, the door does not fall into the castle alone and also closes quite hard. But I think you could change this very quickly and the money should be invested. The front room has 5 tables, space for 16 people. Furnished pretty ok, but really cozy I don't think so. After this room the corridor comes to the right onto the toilet and then on the right side the bar /thek and on the left side of the main room. The back room also offers space for approx. 20 people and I like much better. When we were there, everything was in the back, so we had to sit in front of us. In short, we noticed that it was very unpleasant there. The windfall is not completely closed and again a guest has not closed the door properly. But even with closed wind and door it would have been too cold. Tables very stable, there is nothing to shake. Chairs / benches very comfortable. Our first service was probably a cooking/kitchen performance, because the right service, possibly the boss, had no time. She barely spoke German and was just sugar sweets and tried. For security reasons, she sent the correct operation again, but unfortunately it took a while. Service: Excellent and accommodating! Lunch menus are between 11,50€ and 13,90€ incl. Appetizer and 0.2l drink. So not very cheap, but okay. The appetizer in our case GARII PAPP were 2 dough bags à la Carte 4 pieces 6,10€ . Wow, they were so delicious! Fine chopped chicken meat, small sliced potatoes fried with onions and curry served as filling in fried dough bags with a dip of Thai chili sauce. The flavor intensity is analogous to the name length. And there are also many dishes on the map that I have never seen on the map with every Thai country. It is also very large that here a large amount of value is placed on authentic taste of food and is dispensed with flavor enhancers. The homepage is also very informative. In the lunch menu, our choice fell to GÄNGPHET PET JANG, grilled duck on red curry with lychi. Excellent quality and very delicate meat. Unfortunately, the skin was not crispy at all. À la Carte would have cost the court in the evening 15,50€, probably the part is somewhat larger. The waiting time for the appetizer was quite long, but the break to the main course was perfect. Since we have come to the neighboring table, special requests for preorders do not seem to be a problem. In good weather you can sit outside. Something unusual: open at noon only from Wednesday to Saturday! Really bad with the door/air/cold, otherwise I would like to give 5 stars here.

We came twice to this place and were amazed each time by the quality of the products served and by the staff. I had the spring rolls and the the pad Thai ( est I had in my life). My husband had the chicken satay + the red curry also very good. We are lucky to have such a good place in Munich.

A bit out the centre but well worth the extra couple of metro stops. The red duck curry and chicken and cashew nuts were divine - my mouth waters just thinking about the food. Meals were served with rice so quite good value. Wish we could return!

Also Leute ich kann euch sagen, das ist ein Knaller Restaurant! Wir sind zum ersten Mal hier gewesen und normal schreibe ich Restaurant Bewertungen erst nach meinem zweiten Besuch, aber hier ist total klar das dieses Restaurant die Höchstnote erhält. Sowas exotisches, frisches, auf den Punkt zubereitetes, ausgefallenes habe ich vorher noch nie gegessen. Die Chefin kam persönlich an unsern Tisch um uns die Karte und vor allem die vielen exotischen Gemüse Sorten, Kräuter und Wurzeln zu erklären mit denen sie kocht. Glutamate kommen hier nicht in die Küche! Hammer! Kann ich nur jedem empfehlen. Wir waren in der Woche da ohne Reservierung völlig spontan aufgrund der guten Bewertungen, und es hat sich gelohnt. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.
