My history with coffee comes from the late 1960s, the first quality coffee house in the usa. alfred peet. berkeley. espresso drinks are in order, but they are something else and not what I was in the mood for. I looked over the options of the meager veg* and did this completely unimaginable for me: I went to dieucks. I was not in dieucks all over the world, except shenzen, when it was the main competitor under massive. Dieucks had coffee and six vegetarian sandwiches (including packings and flatbreads) and several baked goods and coffee.

The place is in order to relax on a couch, drink some coffee and use the bathroom

The vegan choice is limited. they have a vegan cake that is not so good. then they have a bagel and some cookies.

Ordered a vegan avocado bagle. Had never problems with this in Berlin, but here: the service lady cut a crispy chicken bagle first and then, without cleaning, cut my vegan avocado bagle. I had traces of crispy chicken in my bagel which nearly made me throw up. I tried to explain to her friendly that you cannot make something vegan if you use the same uncleaned meat knife to cut it and she reacted confused but okay. But still this is a fatal no go.
